It's clear that a Verandah Stateroom is a significant step up from the Interior or Ocean-View Staterooms.
You still have that "cozy" bathroom with its microscopic shower, but now you have a space where you can step outside. You can't take a big step (because your verandah is about the same size as your shower), but still.
Seriously, though, once you've cruised in a cabin with a verandah, you'll find it nearly impossible to cruise in a cabin without one.
It's so nice to be able to step out on your balcony in your bathrobe and watch the ship coming into a new port. And to have a private spot to sit and read and watch the ocean. There is no doubt that a verandah is one of the nicest amenities available!
