Fruit and Vegetable Carving

One of the best things about the art of fruit and/or vegetable carving is that (unlike the ice carvings demonstrations discussed elsewhere), this is something that you can use to decorate and enhance your own entertaining.

While you probably won't be able to replicate the most elaborate work you'll see demonstrated here, some of the simpler creations are pretty easy to accomplish, even for those of us without superb kitchen knife skills.
