There's a big division among cruisers. Some of us are Ship people and some are Port people. I'm a Ship guy. When choosing a cruise, I count up the number of sea days, and the more the better. I once took a Trans-Pacific cruise that had 11 straight sea days. Heaven!
But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the ports as well. I always look forward to visiting a new port for the first time, and look forward to revisiting the spots I've been to before (it's like seeing an old friend). Happily, I get to have both experiences on this cruise, and have the pleasure of introducing you to both old and new friends.
